Jonathan Stanley, a local amateur bookbinder, will guide us through the process with an illustrated talk. There will also be display of bookbinding equipment and materials, as well as a selection of Jonathan’s books.

Many of the tools and most of the equipment used by bookbinders hasn’t changed in design for centuries, and a well-made book can be stunningly beautiful and last for hundreds of years. But how are they made?
